Woburn, MA,June 9, 2003 - SensAble Technologies, Inc. announced today the immediate availability of the newest member of the FreeForm® family of products, the FreeForm® Mold™ system Version 1.0. The FreeForm Mold system is a unique mold design system that helps reduce overall time-to-market for product development by allowing mold manufacturers to digitally prepare designs for manufacturing and create tooling inserts for complex, free-form shapes. Charles Farah, Product Manager for the FreeForm Mold system at SensAble said, "By combining polymesh and surface data, the FreeForm Mold system provides an innovative approach for manufacturing mold inserts currently produced using manual moldmaking." The FreeForm Mold system delivers expanded value to SensAble's customers by enabling digital mold design for 3D models created using SensAble's FreeForm® Modeling™ system.
